drive-by selection of drawings, 1999-2002 Referencing stereoscopic photography, these mural-sized charcoal drawings incorporate images of houses, office buildings or malls from the suburbs of south Denver. In this case, images are doubled and tripled to suggest repeatability and the process of change. In Tennis Whites (second down), the image of a tennis court breaks down under hundreds of strokes of Wite-Out correction fluid. In Drive-By, (third down), the image of a tree breaks down into its half-tone representation. |
