The Ever Given

The Ever Given, a 20,000 container ship was grounded in March 2021, blocking the Suez Canal for six days. This behemoth jammed up a major shipping passage becoming a meme and symbol of global commerce and exchange gone awry. Realized in May of 2022, this show features works by artists looking at things getting stuck and unstuck and the systems at play in the process.
