Pavements, Potholes & Repairs is a hybrid sculpture meets book, and with 498 photographs, it's chunky enough to fill a small pothole. The result of daily walks with a camera and a dog, the photographs are meditations on the implications of ground and roads. This book asks us to reconsider the everyday, lowly, destructive, unsightly pothole, elevating it to a place worthy of notice. It reflects an environment forever unstable: patched over, shifting and repaired.
